KAVAKI Cargo Trikes Power Rural Vitalization in African Country, 5,300 Units Delivered Ahead of Schedule
April 15, 2025– In a significant boost to rural development, KAVAKI has successfully completed the delivery of 5,300 KAVAKI brand Cargo Tricycles to the Government of an African Country , fulfilling a major contract awarded in late 2024.
This is a three - wheeled motorcycle from KAVAKI. It comes with a 200cc engine, which provides abundant power, ensuring strong driving force whether it's for transporting goods or daily use.
The cargo compartment measures 1.8 meters in length and 1.2 meters in width, boasting excellent loading capacity. It can easily accommodate a large quantity of items, be it for business deliveries or transporting personal belongings.
Moreover, it is equipped with powerful shock absorbers. Even on uneven roads, you don't have to worry about a bumpy ride. These shock absorbers can effectively reduce the impact from the road surface, providing a relatively stable and comfortable driving experience.
The tricycles, procured under the government’s national rural vitalization initiative, are designed to enhance local transport capacity, improve small-scale farm-to-market logistics, and support income generation in remote communities.
Demonstrating exceptional project execution, KAVAKI managed the entire process—from manufacturing to final port delivery—within just three months of contract signing. This rapid turnaround ensures the vital assets reach beneficiary communities swiftly. The tricycles were shipped via sea freight and have arrived at designated ports in Africa . Government teams are now coordinating nationwide distribution.
"Meeting this ambitious timeline reflects our commitment to Africa's sustainable development goals," said KAVAKI CEO . "The 200cc tricycle is a robust, practical solution for rural entrepreneurs. Delivering 5,300 units efficiently empowers thousands with better mobility and economic opportunity, directly supporting Africa's rural transformation agenda."
The Government praised the timely completion, highlighting the project’s role in strengthening agricultural value chains and community resilience. This successful partnership underscores KAVAKI's capacity as a reliable partner for large-scale, impactful infrastructure projects across Africa.
